In case your don't know them already, the Hashpoint Team has some new members, let us introduce you to all staff so you know who's happy to welcome you, teach you, cook amazing food for you and make sure your room is tidy and clean! 



Abdellah is born in Taghazout, he started surfing at the age of 15. Abdellah finished his studies in English Literature in 2007 and started the surf camp in 2009. In 2011 he decided to proceed a big renovation in the beach house from his father and from then on Hashpoint Surfcamp is on. He speaks fluently Amazigh, Moroccan, French and English. Abdellah takes advanced surfers to his favourite challenging spots for guiding or helps out with teaching when needed.

Sophie makes sure to answer all your questions on email and on site. Updating our website and social media and making sure all things are going smoothly and organised. Sophie is born in the Netherlands, she speaks Dutch, English and understands a little German and French. She came first to Morocco on holiday in 2012 and fell in love with surfing. After working as a hostess in another surf camp in Taghazout for 7 months in 2013, she is full-time here with us since august 2015.

MOUNIR - Surf teacher

Real gentleman! First fell in love with skateboarding and after also surfing. Bring your guitar and give him some lessons in return of his great surf teaching. Mounir speaks Moroccan Arabic, French and English.

ZOUHAIR - Surf teacher

He used to be a rapper before and if you ask him for some rhymes he will rap for you. Mostly he loves surfing and he wants to complete his study in IT. Zouhair speaks Moroccan Arabic, Berber, French and English.

LYSANNE - Hostess

Started in January and here to stay 4 months. Lysanne is from the Netherlands. She has a hands on mentality and is here to welcome you at the surf house. Hit her with any language and she most probably responds. She loves to explore local communities while traveling. Msmen is her favourite Moroccan treat!

FATIMA  - Chef

Fatima is the oldest sister of Abdellah, she prepares the delicious food in the camp. From traditional Tagines to healthy pasta salads for lunch.
Her favorite dish of the week: Moroccan soups and bbq night

AISCHA & ROUKIA  - Housekeeping

These ladies makes sure the house is always tidy and spotless, so you can enjoy your clean hot shower after a day of hard work at the beach. Both of them only speak Berber, 'Tenmirt' is the word you need to know, it means Thank you!

YOUNESS  - Surf shop manager

Always there to help you pick the right boards and wetsuit for your surf sessions. Youness is in charge of the surf shop. Renting out the boards, stocking up the shop and make sure that your wetsuit is fresh for the next day.
