OUR STORY
Hashpoint Surf Camp has been part of Taghazout's surf community since the very beginning — long before surf tourism had a name here.
Abdellah caught his first wave at 15, growing up in the same house that would one day become Hashpoint. His father built it. The family slowly opened their doors to surfers and backpackers passing through, and something quietly took root.
After finishing his English Literature studies at 25, he opened the surf shop. Each year, he made it a little better. A little more his own. In 2009, the business became official — and the name chose itself. Hashpoint was the only surf guesthouse at the Hashpoint break. It felt right.
Then 2013 brought something unexpected. Sophie arrived in Morocco on a six-month exchange, discovered a love for surfing — and for Abdellah. Originally from the Netherlands, where she studied Fashion and Branding, Sophie has a sharp eye for detail, a talent for design, and a gift for making spaces feel like home. Together, they built something neither could have done alone.
Surf packages launched. The guesthouse grew. Guests arrived from every corner of the world and left feeling like they'd found their people.
We started with a few. Today we have a full team — and two surf grommets of our own, who will be the first to welcome you when you arrive.
