Last week, we had the honor of teaming up with Surftawam again for a special day in Taghazout - a place where the waves are well-known, but access to the water isn’t always equal for everyone.

Half-Moroccan twin sisters, Jasmin and Ines founded Surftawam with a shared dream: To create more space for girls in Morocco to connect with the ocean through surfing.
Surftawam’s mission is all about breaking down the barriers that keep local girls from experiencing surfing. Whether it’s a lack of equipment, instructors, or simply a sense of belonging in the lineup, many young girls in Morocco grow up near the ocean but never get the chance to truly connect with it.

So this time, we joined forces to help change that - sponsoring surfboards and a local surf instructor, and inviting a group of Moroccan girls to come surf with us for the day.

The two amazing women behind Surftawam led the way with warmth and energy, helping to create a safe, fun space where the girls could try surfing - many for the first time ever. There was laughter, a few wipeouts, and even some first waves caught. More importantly, there was a feeling of sisterhood - the kind that forms when you’re cheering each other on between sets and celebrating every small win.

After the session, we all shared a relaxed lunch, sat in the sun, and connected as a community. These moments - smiles, shared meals, new friendships - are just as important as time in the water.

This wasn’t just a surf lesson. It was a reminder: the ocean belongs to all of us.

We’re incredibly proud to support Surftawam and help open up surfing for more Moroccan girls. We believe in a future where every girl worldwide - or anywhere along the coast - feels confident, welcome, and free in the waves.
